District Programs and Activities

EducationThe District's Educational programs are a very important component of the conservation effort. Today, these educational programs are conducted by the District's Educational/Public Relations Director. Some of these programs include book covers for area schools, aquifer flow model materials/demonstrations, as well as other materials and curriculum supplied to 4th and 5th grade students and teachers. Adult education includes civic club presentations, brochures and news releases. Other opportunities for public speaking engagements are frequently submitted to the District office. The Education Outreach Cooperative is committed to providing opportunities for residents of all ages to learn about the importance of water as a precious resource and how to conserve it. To schedule an educational program presentation or receive available materials, please contact the Education Coordinator.
